“Creative Conversation” is a sculptural composition installed in front of the drama theater in the city of Atyrau. This composition includes sculptures of People’s Artists of the USSR Asanali Ashimov, Khadisha Bokeyeva, Sabira Maikanova, and People’s Artist of the Kazakh SSR Nurmukhan Zhanturin.
According to the director of the drama theater, the idea to erect monuments to famous artists arose a year ago. The goal is to perpetuate the names of our beloved artists, to preserve in the people’s memory the people who were at the origins of the development of national cinematography and modern professional theatrical art.
The author of the composition is Almaty sculptor Gulfiya Medesh. The “Creative Conversation” monument was erected in honor of the art figures who made a huge contribution to the development of national art and is an important cultural object aimed at increasing the love of the younger generation for domestic culture.
