Tour Route: “Nature of the Ural River”

Tour Description: This tour begins in Atyrau city and covers the scenic natural areas along the lower reaches of the Ural River (Zhaiyk). Participants will explore the river’s flora and fauna, visit historically significant sites, taste traditional drinks, and enjoy amateur fishing.
Route: Atyrau – Damba – SKEBR – Peshnoy – Left and Right banks of the Ural River
Alternative Route: The tour starts by boat from Atyrau, stops at points along the river, then includes walking and a return by boat.

About Fishing:
- Safety and legal briefing provided beforehand
- Legal amateur fishing with restrictions
- Telescopic rods and spinning reels used
- Fresh fish prepared into Ukha on site
Nature Observation (Birdlife):
Up to 80 bird species can be spotted from the 292 registered in Atyrau region
Natural Hazards:
- Sudden strong winds and thunderstorms possible
- Tour suspended if wind speed exceeds 15 m/s
- Participants should bring raincoats
- Avoid trees and open spaces during lightning
Recommendations:
- Follow water safety rules
- Wearing a life vest is mandatory
- Wear comfortable clothes for walking
- Bring sunblock and insect repellent
