Tuzdykol, located 15 km from Inderbor, is known for the healing properties of its water and black mud. Locals say that the lake water cures joint diseases, asthma, bronchitis, and gynecological ailments. The lake’s composition contains elements such as bromine, potassium, iodine, and table salt, and black mud is useful for treating skin and joint diseases.
The northern part of the lake is surrounded by the Inder Mountain, and the southern part is bordered by a plain. It is constantly replenished by “rumbling” springs flowing from the salt dome. The peculiarity of this lake is the presence of salt deposits on its bottom, rich in 16 elements of the Mendeleev table.
Attractiveness for tourists:
The number of visitors coming to Tuzdykol for healing recreation is increasing. In addition, the mausoleums of historical figures such as Makhambet Utemisuly, Malaisary bi, and Murat Monkeuly are located about 30 km from the lake. This place can be a special destination for tourists combining nature and history.
